Citizens for Responsible Government is an independent grass-roots non-partisan organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for citizens to participate in efforts to make all levels of government act in a more responsible manner.

The initial issues selected for attention by Citizens for Responsible Government in Baldwin County Alabama include the following:
Establishing a fair tax system at both the state and federal level, with as few loop-holes as possible, and capable during good economic times of raising the funds necessary to fund government.
Calling a Constitutional Convention to rewrite the Alabama State Constitution.
Achieving wise spending by both the state and federal government.
Reducing the role of money in the election process by initiating public funding of election campaigns.
Reducing the costs of elections, and eliminating the wasted ballot problem, by the use of Instant Runoff Voting.
Addressing the issue of sprawl & smart growth and environmental protection.
